The Hobe Sound Florida Market Report ZIP Code 33455 closed sales were off for this month while pending sales were up when compared to August.  This market remains quite active.

The current absorption rate for the Hobe Sound residential market dropped to 4.5 months (It was 4.0 months in August).  Remaining as a seller’s market.  An absorption rate of 6 to 7 months is considered to be a balanced market favoring neither the buyer or seller.

The numbers for September 2018 were: 168 active listings, 56 pending sales, and 48 closed sales.  There was a greater volume of sales last year in this very active segment of the Martin County real estate market.
