For March 2026, one home is available for sale in the Southwood community of Stuart, FL. List price is $475,000 or $210.36 per sq. ft. of living space.

Southwood is a small community of 115 home sites located just southeast of Salerno Rd on Kanner Highway in Stuart FL.  This location makes it easy for anyone wishing to commute either north or south as it’s only a few minutes to I-95.  It is also close to the Publix shopping center at the intersection of Kanner Highway and Salerno Rd.  Just minutes from Martin Memorial South Hospital.  Only about 10 to 15 minutes to downtown Stuart and just slightly longer to the beaches and waterways of Martin County.

One enters the Southwood subdivision through a long private drive.  Currently, this community is not gated, yet offers the utmost privacy and safety.  The homes were built from 1990 to 2001 and are all individual styles from various builders.  This is not a cookie-cutter community.  Home sizes range from 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom homes with 2 car garages of just under 1,700 square feet of living area up to 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom homes of just under 3,000 sq. ft.

There are a number of ponds and creeks throughout Southwood.  And, this community is mostly surrounded by either preserve lands or acreage.  There is no community pool or clubhouse so the HOA fees are a very reasonable $98.00 a month as of this writing and include trash and basic cable TV.  Though there are some magnificent nature trails through the preserve areas.

For March 2025, there are seven condos available for sale in the Bayview condos in Indian River Plantation on Hutchinson Island in Stuart FL. List prices range from $575,000 to $950,000. This is an average list price of $689,114 which works out to $535.75 per sq. ft. of living area.

There is one Bayview condo currently under contract and awaiting settlement.  The list price is $599,500. This works out to $497.92 per sq. ft. of living area.  This condo was on the market for 2 days before going under contract.

Here’s your March 2026 market report for the Sandpebble Condo and Beach Club on Hutchinson Island in Stuart, Florida:

There are currently ten condos available for sale in Sandpebble. The list prices range from $425,000 up to $699,000. This is an average list price of $501,700 which is $413.01 per sq. ft. of living area. 

There are currently two Sandpebble condos under contract priced at $395,000 and $440,000 or an average of $404.56 per square foot of living space. These condos were on the market an average of 161 days before going under contract.

In the past 12 months, 10 Sandpebble condos have sold.  Sales prices ranged from $330,000 up to $583,000.  This is an average sales price of $459,544 which works out to $369.29 per sq. ft. of living area.  These sales averaged 94% of the list price. The River Club of Martin County is a waterfront condo community that was built between the years of 1978 and 1980.  There are 15 buildings with 188 total condos all of which are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  These are all two-story buildings.  There are two different floor plans with 1,220 and 1,072 sq. ft., of living areas.  Four of these buildings enjoy beautiful wide waterfront views of the Saint Lucie River.  This attractive community has a 50-slip marina that is run by a separate dock association.  To own a slip in the River Club, one must be a condo owner.  Tenants and owners do have the opportunity to rent slips should they be available for lease.

Owners enjoy excellent amenities including a clubhouse with game room and kitchen facilities, a community pool, fitness room, shuffleboard courts, workshop, and cable TV and internet access (including Wi-Fi) included in the condo fees.  The condo fees as of May 2019 are $326 a month.

All ages are welcome in the River Club but no pets are allowed.  And, rentals are allowed with some restrictions as to duration and length of unit ownership.  Additionally, no commercial vehicles or motorcycles are allowed, but pickup trucks with covers are permitted.
