The Hobe Sound Florida Market Report ZIP Code 33455 continues to be a strong and active residential real estate market even though the activity has moderated a bit in the past two months.

The current absorption rate for the Hobe Sound residential market dropped to 4.0 months (It was 5.1 months in July).  Remaining as a strong seller’s market.  An absorption rate of 6 to 7 months is considered to be a balanced market favoring neither the buyer or seller.

The numbers for August 2018 were: 172 active listings, 81 pending sales, and 37 closed sales.  A better number of closed sales this year while pending sales were stronger last year on a reduced number of homes for sale.
