Bay Tree is located directly across the street from the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.   This is a wonderful gated community that is made up of 32 homes on Hutchinson Island in Jensen Beach. Bay Tree is in a serene area of Jensen Beach but is still close to shopping, restaurants, boating, and the downtown areas of both Jensen Beach and Stuart.

Homes in Bay Tree were built from 1992 to 2002 and consist of 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom homes of just over 1,500 sq. ft. of living area up to a spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home with just under 4,000 sq. ft. of space under AC.  This community has access to the beach at Waveland Beach Park directly across the street.  It is now also equipped with a good-sized day dock where boaters and fishermen can stop to pick up guests and supplies for the day.

The Bay Tree community is just over 1.5 miles from the Jensen Beach Causeway and residents have easy and convenient access to downtown Jensen Beach with its restaurants and shopping.  And, is only 5 miles to the Stuart Causeway for additional shopping, entertainment, and dining options.

 This community allows rentals and is a pet-friendly community with large dogs permitted.

For those wishing to explore a little further away, Orlando is only 2 hours away; while West Palm Beach is only a 45-minute drive.

As of February 2024, there are 2 homes available for sale in Spinnaker Point on Hutchinson Island. The list prices are $1,649,000 and $4,875,000. This is an average list price of $3,262,000 which is $782.84 per sq. ft. of living area.

There are also no homes currently under contract.

In the past 12 months, 1 Spinnaker Point home has sold. The sales price was $2,162,090 or $703.81 per sq. ft. of living space. This home was on the market for 6 days before going under contract. And, it sold for 90% of the last list price.

Spinnaker Point on Hutchinson Island is easy to miss when driving by on Highway A-1-A in Stuart FL.  But, it is one of the gems for those who want both river and ocean access.  This gated community has 12 homes west of the road and 2 lots that have yet to be built upon on the ocean side.

Four of these homes enjoy being on the Intracoastal Waterway (also known as the Indian River) and have deeded docks with ocean access (no fixed low bridges) through the Saint Lucie Inlet just a little under 5 miles south. The remaining 8 homes have access to the community pier and a few have deeded docks as well.

All the homes are built in the Key West style and were built between 1991 and 2001.  Home sizes range from a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a 2 car garage up to a 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom home with a 2 and ½ car garage.  There is deeded access to the ocean with a boardwalk leading over the dunes.  All ages and pets are permitted in Spinnaker Point. 

School-age children attend the Felix A Williams Elementary School, Stuart Middle School, and Jensen Beach High School.

Located approximately halfway between the Stuart and Jensen Beach causeways, it is easy to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and amenities both areas offer.
