Dancin’ In The Streets!

Stuart’s annual Dancin’ In The Streets gets underway this Saturday, August 27th in downtown Stuart at 6 p.m.    Presented by  Stuart Main Street whose mission is to promote the historic downtown area of Stuart, Florida.

There will be plenty of excitement with music of all genres, along with all the food, beer, wine and spirits one could want.  Admission is $10 for adults with children under 12 admitted for free.

Four different stages will host 8 bands this year.

Riverwalk Tribute Stage

Spanning the years from Beatle Paul to Sir Paul, Jack Maravell and his band perform such classic hits as All My Loving, I Saw Her Standing There, Band On The Run, Live and Let Die and many more.

Flagler Stage

Tom Jackson Band:

If you like rockin country music with a bite, your gonna love the Tom Jackson Band. Tom’s brand of music is a new driving, aggressive country likened to a combination of Jason Aldean meets Charlie Daniels.

Southern Rock Society:

Powerful influences from Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Outlaws, Marshall Tucker Band, .38 Special, Van Zants, Charlie Daniels, Allman Bros., Steve Grisham and Chris Hicks.

The SRS Band is here to continue the ongoing effort to promote Southern Rock music, the bands, the fans, and all that is Southern Rock!

Colorado Stage

Fresh Catch:

Straight out of Stuart, Florida comes the eclectic cast of characters collectively known as “Fresh Catch”. Specializing in a Heavy Reggae sound, the band has independently released two full-length albums ( Foul Hooked in 2008 and So Far… in 2010).

Energetic live performances and catchy hooks make Fresh Catch a local favorite of the Treasure Coast.

The Resolvers:

A new sound, organic and fresh, is being cultivated in the dank, sticky heat of the unrelenting South Florida sun… Bouncy rhythms shift swiftly and seamlessly in and out of an explosive reggae pulse and playful jazzy excerpts from this 10 piece powerhouse.

Kayavibe:

Kayavibe is a reggae/ dance band hailing from the musty shores of South Central Florida. Their mix of contemporary reggae rhythms, combined with catchy hooks and smooth delivery.

Osceola Stage

Herencia Latina Orchestra:

The Herencia Latina Orchestra will perform at Haney Circle, this group has the reputation of playing the best Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Boleros and Swing Music.
