Conveniently located just west of US-1 (Federal Highway) on Kanner Highway and close to downtown Stuart is the Poppleton Creek Condo Complex.

 This community consists of two sections.  One is a more traditional type of condo building with units consisting of mostly 2 bedroom condos and a few 1 bedroom units built in 1974 with approximately 875 sq. ft. of living area.  There is also a newer section built-in 1981 with 1,250 sq. ft. condos that are more like townhomes with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The newer section, which was completed between the years of 1984 and 1985 is referred to as the Gardens at Poppleton Creek and consists of a more open plan that are all 1,164 sq. ft. of living area with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Some units in both of the newer sections look out at and are along the shores of Poppleton Creek which has ocean access through the Saint Lucie River.  There are docks available in Poppleton Creek that are only suitable for smaller boats as the waters are fairly shallow and one must travel under the Palm City Road bridge which only has limited clearance. There is also a place for kayak storage and launching.

One medium-sized pet is allowed (under 35 lbs.) and rentals are also allowed with restrictions.  There is ample parking but no commercial vehicles are allowed.  Units do have washer and dryer hookups for in-home laundry.
