Rocky Point in Stuart, FL is a wonderful boating-oriented community located just off the Saint Lucie Inlet in beautiful Martin County Florida. Bordering Rocky Point to the north and west is the Manatee Pocket.  Home of the original Stuart Sailfish fleet (Stuart continues to proudly boast that it’s the ‘Sailfish Capital of the World’).  Now home to several Marinas, Charter fleets, the famous Chapman School of Seamanship, and quite a few excellent restaurants serving the freshest seafood from the Ocean straight to the kitchens daily.

One of the highlights of the year for Rocky Point is the Port Salerno Seafood Festival.  Held yearly in the winter, this free festival fills the streets of Historic Port Salerno.  In addition to serving up the area’s freshest and tastiest seafood, live music, community booths, arts & crafts, activities for the kids, pirates and more keep the entire family entertained the whole day. Admission is FREE, though attendees are asked to bring canned goods in exchange for zero admission to benefit from a food drive for local food banks.

All ages are welcome and up to two large pets are OK.  Rentals are also permitted with some restrictions.

These townhomes are deeded as condos. The monthly fees include maintenance and insurance for all structures and common areas.  There is a community pool as well as a community pier with deeded docks on the Indian River (Intracoastal Waterway).  Residents of these townhomes have the ability to go fishing on the Intracoastal from their boat or right from the dock, or simply just walk across the street to enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

I’m sure you’ve heard the term “location, location, location” when it comes to real estate.  Well, the Saint Lucie Club Condos in Stuart FL is one of these places.  This community is close to everything. Conveniently located on quiet Saint Lucie Blvd just north of East Ocean Blvd and west of Snug Harbor.

These condos consist of 3 elevator buildings with 52 total units that were built from 1982 to 1984.  Condo sizes range from 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condos with 1,684 sq. ft. Down to 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condos with either 1,488 or 1,351 sq. ft. of living area.   I believe a valuable benefit, the Saint Lucie Club has under-building parking for at least one car for each owner. There’s also a community pool and shared tennis courts in the lushly landscaped grounds.

An attractive feature is that rentals are permitted (with some restrictions) and pets (one small) are only permitted in one of the three buildings.
