For Julyy 2026, There are two active listings in the Rocky Point community in Port Salerno in Stuart FL, including condos and homes.  List prices range from a low of $789,000 up to $3,300,000.  This is an average list price of $2,044,500 or $825.56 per square foot of living area.

Three Rocky Point homes are under contract. List prices were between $325,000 and $689,000  This equals $270.48 per square foot of living space.  These properties were on the market an average of 41 day before accepting a contract.

One of the highlights of the year for Rocky Point is the Port Salerno Seafood Festival.  Held yearly in the winter, this free festival fills the streets of Historic Port Salerno.  In addition to serving up the area’s freshest and tastiest seafood, live music, community booths, arts & crafts, activities for the kids, pirates and more keep the entire family entertained the whole day. Admission is FREE, though attendees are asked to bring canned goods in exchange for zero admission to benefit from a food drive for local food banks.

The monthly fees include maintenance and insurance for all structures and common areas.  There is a community pool as well as a community pier with deeded docks on the Indian River (Intracoastal Waterway).  Residents of these townhomes have the ability to go fishing on the Intracoastal from their boat or right from the dock, or simply just walk across the street to enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Southwood is a small community of 115 home sites located just southeast of Salerno Rd on Kanner Highway in Stuart FL.  This location makes it easy for anyone wishing to commute either north or south as it’s only a few minutes to I-95.  It is also close to the Publix shopping center at the intersection of Kanner Highway and Salerno Rd.  Just minutes from Martin Memorial South Hospital.  Only about 10 to 15 minutes to downtown Stuart and just slightly longer to the beaches and waterways of Martin County.

Children in Southwood attend Pinewood Elementary, David L. Anderson Middle, and Martin County High Schools.  All great schools.  Click on the above links for more information about each school.

One enters the Southwood subdivision through a long private drive.  Currently, this community is not gated, yet offers the utmost privacy and safety.  The homes were built from 1990 to 2001 and are all individual styles from various builders.  This is not a cookie-cutter community.  Home sizes range from 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom homes with 2 car garages of just under 1,700 square feet of living area up to 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom homes of just under 3,000 sq. ft.

There are a number of ponds and creeks throughout Southwood.  And, this community is mostly surrounded by either preserve lands or acreage.  There is no community pool or clubhouse so the HOA fees are a very reasonable $98.00 a month as of this writing and include trash and basic cable TV.  Though there are some magnificent nature trails through the preserve areas.

 This community allows rentals and is a pet-friendly community with large dogs permitted.

For those wishing to explore a little further away, Orlando is only 2 hours away; while West Palm Beach is only a 45-minute drive.
