The gated community of Bahia Sound is located on both the east and west sides of Gomez Avenue in Hobe Sound FL. This community has only 51 home sites. Homes have been built from 1990 to 2015 and as of this writing (July 2017), there are still 6 vacant lots. These homes are on lots of around 1/4 to 1/3 of an acre and range in size from 4 bedrooms, 3 bathroom homes of around 3,400 sq. ft. of living area down to 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom homes of just over 2,000 sq. ft. Most homes are single-story, however, there are a number of 2 story homes. There was no preferred builder so all of these homes are individual and unique.
Waterfront homes in Hobe Sound:
There is a boardwalk through the preserve area to a private dock area as well as kayak/canoe storage. Only a limited number of docks are available. Those with deeded docks have the ability to sell these docks to other Bahia Sound owners.
Children are currently zoned to attend the Hobe Sound Elementary School, Murray Middle School, and the South Fork High School.
This community is located next to the Jimmy Graham Park and is only 5 miles +/- to Jupiter Inlet or St. Lucie Inlet as well as 10 min to Pecks Lake by boat. There’s easy access to US-1 and either the City of Stuart or south to the town of Jupiter for entertainment, fine restaurants, movies, and first-class medical facilities.
