Snug Harbor was the vision of a group of 10 Yachtsmen, many former Commodores of the Chicago Yacht Club back in 1943. They bought the land and platted the area in September 1944 as well as forming the Snug Harbor Corporation, which controlled the ownership of the lots.

For May 2016, there are two condos listed in the Sunset Cove condos of North Stuart on the Saint Lucie River.  These two condos are listed at $234,900 and $269,900 for an average list price of $252,400 which equals $154.66 per sq. ft. of living area.  These two condos have been on the market for an average of 26 days as of May 17.

There is one condo currently under contract that was listed for $249,900 or $159.17 per sq. ft. of living area.  This condo was on the market for 162 days prior to accepting the current offer.
