Located west of A-1-A  (Ocean Drive) on Hutchinson Island in Jensen Beach (Saint Lucie County) and just approximately 3 miles north of the Jensen Beach Causeway is this unique townhome community by the name of Tradewinds.

There are a total of 14 townhomes in Tradewinds.  Two large Spanish Med-style units on the north end were completed in 2009 while the other 10 are in a Key West style and were completed between 2012 and 2014.

The older units are quite large with over 3,500 sq. ft. of living space on two and three levels and numerous bedrooms and bathrooms and garages.  The newer units are all 3 bedroom, 2 and ½ bathroom homes with approximately 2,300 sq. ft. of living area with reserved parking.  There is one end unit that has a detached garage.

Recently sold Tradewinds townhomes:

All ages are welcome and up to two large pets are OK.  Rentals are also permitted with some restrictions.

These townhomes are deeded as condos. The monthly fees include maintenance and insurance for all structures and common areas.  There is a community pool as well as a community pier with deeded docks on the Indian River (Intracoastal Waterway).  Residents of these townhomes have the ability to go fishing on the Intracoastal from their boat or right from the dock, or simply just walk across the street to enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

There’s a wide range of sizes and shapes of homes ranging from 6 bedroom homes with over 3,100 sq. ft. of living area down to more modest 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom homes with just under 1,100 sq. ft.  There are both frame and concrete block construction as well as homes with and without private pools.

Some homes have large lots of over ½ acre while others are fairly modest lots with just over .12 acres.

Neighborhood children attend the Jensen Beach Elementary School which is just a little over ½ mile away, Stuart Middle School, and the Jensen Beach High School.

For December 2025, six Sea Winds condos are available for sale in Jensen Beach on Hutchinson Island.  The list prices range from $418,800 up to $639,900. This is an average list price of $491,267 or $386.10 per sq. ft. of living area.

One Sea Winds condo is under contract at this time. It is listed at $615,000 or $434.94 per sq. ft. of living space. This unit was on the market 9 days before going under contract.

In the past year, eight Sea Winds condos have sold.  The sales prices ranged from $350,000 up to $650,000. This is an average sales price of $436,000 which works out to $346.47 per sq. ft. of living area.  These condos averaged 158 days on the market before going under contract. And, they averaged sales prices of 93% of the last listed price.

The Sea Winds Condos of Jensen Beach on Hutchinson Island is a one-of-a-kind 12-story building with 8 condos per floor for a total of 96, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom residences that were originally built in 1983.  There are two end units for each side of the building with larger square footage and wrap-around balconies with some magnificent views.  These units have a spacious 1,414 or 1,397 sq. feet of living area enclosed plus the additional balcony space.  The remaining four interior condos per floor feature 1,197 sq. ft. of living areas plus a balcony.

The residents of Sea Winds enjoy private beach access, a heated pool, and a clubhouse with a large common area and kitchen, as well as a tennis court, vehicle wash area, BBQ area, and additional storage.  Residents are allowed two pets not exceeding 15 lbs. each.   Rentals are also permitted with a minimum 3-month duration.

The condo association fees were $1,190 per quarter as of May 2019, making Sea Winds one of the most affordable on Hutchinson Island in Jensen Beach.  Sea Winds units don’t come on the market often as this building is highly desirable.

Sailfish (Rigels) Cove is located on Hutchinson Island in Jensen Beach FL. It is also known as Rigels Cove as the name was changed to Sailfish Cove not long ago. Just a little under a mile to the south of the Jensen Beach Causeway on the shores of the Intracoastal Waterway (also known as the Indian River).

Sailfish (Rigels) Cove was first developed in 1993 and only 11 homes make up this small subdivision with all homes having ocean access waterfront docks. Home sizes range from just under 3,000 sq. ft. of living area up to almost 5,000 sq. ft. HOA fees are approximately $326 a month. These fees include lawn and landscaping, and maintenance of the common areas and the gate.

Residents of Sailfish (Rigels) Cove enjoy being in the ‘A’ rated Martin County School System and are just a few minutes from both downtown Jensen Beach as well as historic downtown Stuart FL. Lots of great shopping and amenities close by as well.

This report includes all Miramar Buildings on Hutchinson Island in Jensen Beach Miramar, Miramar II, and Miramar Royale.

For December 2025, there are five Miramar condos on the market on Hutchinson Island. The list prices range from $489,900 up to $850,000. This is an average list price of $677,860 which works out to $457.62 per sq. ft. of living area.

There are two Miramar condos currently under contract. The list prices were $455,000 and $514,800, for an average of $484,900, which is $356.64 per sq. ft. of living area. These condo was on the market for an average of 83 days before going under contract.

In the past 12 months, 11 Miramar condos have sold. Sales prices ranged from a low of $400,000 up to $800,000. This works out to an average sales price of $637,237 or $32.90 per sq. ft. of living area. These condos sold for an average of 95% of the list price. And, they went under contract in an average of 132 days after coming on the market.

The Bay Tree community is just over 1.5 miles from the Jensen Beach Causeway and residents have easy and convenient access to downtown Jensen Beach with its restaurants and shopping.  And, is only 5 miles to the Stuart Causeway for additional shopping, entertainment, and dining options.

 This community allows rentals and is a pet-friendly community with large dogs permitted.

For those wishing to explore a little further away, Orlando is only 2 hours away; while West Palm Beach is only a 45-minute drive.

The River Club of Martin County is a waterfront condo community that was built between the years of 1978 and 1980.  There are 15 buildings with 188 total condos all of which are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  These are all two-story buildings.  There are two different floor plans with 1,220 and 1,072 sq. ft., of living areas.  Four of these buildings enjoy beautiful wide waterfront views of the Saint Lucie River.  This attractive community has a 50-slip marina that is run by a separate dock association.  To own a slip in the River Club, one must be a condo owner.  Tenants and owners do have the opportunity to rent slips should they be available for lease.

Owners enjoy excellent amenities including a clubhouse with game room and kitchen facilities, a community pool, fitness room, shuffleboard courts, workshop, and cable TV and internet access (including Wi-Fi) included in the condo fees.  The condo fees as of May 2019 are $326 a month.

All ages are welcome in the River Club but no pets are allowed.  And, rentals are allowed with some restrictions as to duration and length of unit ownership.  Additionally, no commercial vehicles or motorcycles are allowed, but pickup trucks with covers are permitted.

Moon River lies on the east side of the Jensen Beach Causeway in Martin County Florida. It’s only a short walk or bike ride to the public beach on the Atlantic Ocean. It’s also close to shopping, restaurants, and the remaining wonderful amenities Martin County offers.

Moon River is an excellent choice for full-time residents and those wishing to have their winter oasis away from the cold north.

Located directly across the street from the Ocean at the Jensen Beach Public Beach. There are 196 condos which are all 1,090 sq. ft. of living area. They are all 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with private balconies or patios. The Jensen Beach Club complex was built between 1986 and 1987 and has a community pool, clubhouse, and tennis courts. These are three-story buildings with the most desirable condos being the end units with lake views.

The Jensen Beach Club will allow up to a 25 lb. or smaller pet and rentals are also allowed with some restrictions. The maintenance fee includes the insurance and maintenance for the building exterior as well as the common areas, pest control, management, and water, and sewer charges.

There are two designated parking spots for each unit and ample guest parking as well. Jensen Beach Club residents enjoy the convenience of having ocean access just across the street. Jensen Park Estates is a non-gated community located just west of Savannah Rd in the heart of Jensen Beach.  There are 381 homesites in this community, most of which have been built upon.  Homes were built from 1980 to the latest one which was completed in 2010.

Some homes have large lots of over ½ acre while others are fairly modest lots with just over .12 acres.

Neighborhood children attend the Jensen Beach Elementary School which is just a little over ½ mile away, Stuart Middle School, and the Jensen Beach High School.
