Homes in the Meadows

The Meadows came into existence through the efforts of local developer Peter Cumming who submitted the plans for the community around 1988.  Shortly thereafter, Burg and DiVosta (soon to be just DiVosta) began developing the land in the area called Martin Downs for the soon to be constructed villages of The Meadows.

Homes in the Meadows

Divosta started construction on the site known as The Meadows in 1988 by building two structures from which to sell. One was a Single Family home (Hampton) in what is now known as Greenwich Village, and the other was a four unit Town Home building (Stamford) in what is now known as Lakemont Village. Both types of homes were started in The Meadows at about the same time in 1988.  DiVosta completed the Meadows in 1993 and turned the administration and running of the community to The Meadows Homeowners Association which runs the community through elected officers as well as a full time support staff.

HOA fees in the meadows vary by the type of home, so please look at the listing details view when checking available Meadows homes for sale.  The Meadows is not age restricted and currently allows up to 2 large pets.  Rentals are also allowed with some restrictions.

The Top 4 Reasons White Kitchens Help Homes Sell Faster

The Top 4 Reasons White Kitchens Help Homes Sell Faster

White kitchens are on trend and we’re not expecting it to go away anytime soon. Design pros call the white kitchen timeless while real estate agents across the country can attest to its ability to draw buyers in and get listings sold.  The neutral palette of a white kitchen lends itself to a wealth of design ideas. It can read country, modern, contemporary or transitional. It’s a blank slate where attention to detail matters. To show that white kitchens are far from vanilla and sell listings, we’ve listed The Top 4 Reasons Why Your Listings Should Include a White Kitchen.

White is timeless.  Having been around since the 1920’s, and enduring through the decades, the all-white kitchen is a design staple.  To call this a trend on its way out is like saying, “No one wears Chanel anymore.”  A white kitchen is the little black dress of interior design. The key is to keep it updated. Ground a white kitchen with a sparkly quartz counter-top, or go classic with Carrara marble. The white kitchen is the star, but the counters will make it shine.

bfdc7af415a1e6df551c16c655f40d27

It’s versatile. Whether your client’s style is rustic and natural, or sleek and modern, a white kitchen complements all design aesthetics. Because details pop on a white background, use reclaimed wood beams to play up a rustic vibe or antique jugs to decorate.

All-white is clean. It’s well-known within the real estate community that a home must be clutter-free and clean if it’s going to sell quickly. White is crisp and clean.

A white kitchen sells.  The white kitchen is universally accepted as the standard for classic design, but ultimately it’s a blank slate for your clients to make their own. The beauty of all-white, whether a personal preference or not, is that it’s hands-down the most marketable no matter a client’s taste.

Check out our Pinterest Board, Timeless White Kitchens, to see some of our favorite takes on this classic look for your own design inspiration.

the Pines and Windemere

Located adjacent to the new Jensen Beach High School, and Felix A. Williams elementary school, among Martin County’s best schools, is only one reason why September 2016 Market Update for the Pines and Windemere in Jensen Beach is so desirable.

Jensen Beach High School

Some residents have stated “sending our children to Felix A. Williams is like having a private school in our own back yard.”  And as far as Jensen Beach High School: “Our Kids can walk to the new High School”.

In addition to the best schools, The Pines is located just a little over 2 miles from the beautiful unspoiled beaches of Hutchinson Island, a fantastic public golf course (Eagle Marsh) is right next door, a regional park that offers little league and soccer and many family attractions.  “we can play golf without the high cost just next door.”

the Pines and Windemere

For others, the best shops of the Treasure Coast Mall with a new 13-plex theater are walking distance and grocery stores are located nearby.

World famous fishing is just a ride away. Stuart is known as the “Sailfish capital of the world.”

the Pines and Windemere

Adjacent to the Pines, is the smaller community of Windemere and the Preserves.  D.R. Horton has recently completed building brand new homes in both the Pines and Windemere subdivisions at some very affordable prices.

Neither the Pines or Windemere offer the amenities of a community pool or clubhouse which keeps the HOA fees quite low at $55.00 and $60.00 a month respectively.

 the Pines and Windemere

When these developments were planned the original intent was to combine the two for ease of access.  However the County decided to nix these plans as they felt that out of area residents would use Windemere Drive as a shortcut between US-1 and Jensen Beach and making a lot of congestion in this community.
