Conveniently located just west of US-1 (Federal Highway) on Kanner Highway and close to downtown Stuart is the Poppleton Creek Condo Complex.

 This community consists of two sections.  One is a more traditional type of condo building with units consisting of mostly 2-bedroom condos and a few 1-bedroom units built in 1974 with approximately 875 sq. ft. of living area.  There is also a newer section built in 1981 with 1,250 sq. ft. condos that are more like townhomes with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Some units in both of the newer sections look out at and are along the shores of Poppleton Creek which has ocean access through the Saint Lucie River.  There are docks available in Poppleton Creek that are only suitable for smaller boats as the waters are fairly shallow and one must travel under the Palm City Road bridge which only has limited clearance. There is also a place for kayak storage and launching.

In the past 12 months, 7 Princess condos have sold. Sales prices ranged from $420,000 up to $825,000.  This is an average sales price of $594,286 which works out to $408.30 per sq. ft. of living area.  These condos were on the market for an average of 98 days before going under contract. The Charter Club is a gated community of 203 homes on the south side of Martin Downs Blvd.  Developed in 1988 with the last home completed in 1995.  Very well located in the heart of Palm City and just a short distance to shopping, the Turnpike, numerous golf courses, and rivers, and only about 15 minutes to the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean or 10 minutes to historic downtown Stuart, FL.

Home sizes range from 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 story homes with over 2,500 sq. ft. of living area down to 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms homes with just over 1,200 sq. ft.  All of the Charter Club homes have garages and most are two-car, though a few of the smaller homes only have one car garages.

There is a community pool and hot tub for residents as well as tennis courts.  There’s also a nice large pond (or small lake) which many homes have nice private water views.  The charter club allows up to 1 medium-sized pet per home.  There are also vehicle restrictions for trucks and commercial vehicles that don’t fit into garages.
