Prices also rose for this quarter, though at a much-reduced rate from previous reports. Inventory is continuing to increase but at a slower rate. Interest rates are stubbornly high, but should improve closer to the end of the year. For the time being, though, the Saint Lucie County single-family home market remains in a seller’s market.

For the Martin County townhouses and condos real estate market sales volume was down for the quarter. Prices were mixed for this period while we had continued increasing inventory. Interest rates remain high for the time being but should start going down soon. I expect sales to remain somewhat sluggish for the short term. We are in a slight buyer’s market for now. I suspect that may soon change.

The Martin County single-family home real estate market continued to show weaker sales activity when compared to last year. Prices were down for the quarter while the inventory continued to rise. Interest rates remain high, though they will soon start to come down. I expect sales to remain sluggish for the short term, though we remain in a seller’s market for Martin County single-family home sales.

For the 2nd quarter of 2024, the Saint Lucie Count townhouses and condo real estate market showed weaker sales. The prices also declined for this quarter. The inventory grew for this period. We continue to be in a buyer’s market after a long period of sellers enjoying the advantage.

For the 2nd quarter of 2024, the St Lucie County single-family home real estate market continued the trend of reduced sales volume. Prices rose for this quarter, though at a much-reduced rate from previous reports. Inventory is continuing to increase but at a slower rate. Interest rates are still stubbornly high, but should improve closer to the end of the year. For the time being, though, the Saint Lucie County single-family home market remains in a seller’s market.
