Rocky Point in Stuart, FL is a wonderful boating-oriented community located just off the Saint Lucie Inlet in beautiful Martin County Florida. Originally a fishing village because of its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean; Rocky Point is now a wonderful family community with a variety of different neighborhoods. There is also a selection of some luxury waterfront homes with private docks located only a short few minutes cruise to the open Ocean via the Saint Lucie Inlet and within a day’s round trip to the Bahamas. All this in wonderful family-friendly neighborhoods within Martin County’s ‘A’ rated schools system.

Bordering Rocky Point to the north and west is the Manatee Pocket.  Home of the original Stuart Sailfish fleet (Stuart continues to proudly boast that it’s the ‘Sailfish Capital of the World’).  Now home to several Marinas, Charter fleets, the famous Chapman School of Seamanship, and quite a few excellent restaurants serving the freshest seafood from the Ocean straight to the kitchens daily.

One of the highlights of the year for Rocky Point is the Port Salerno Seafood Festival.  Held yearly in the winter, this free festival fills the streets of Historic Port Salerno.  In addition to serving up the area’s freshest and tastiest seafood, live music, community booths, arts & crafts, activities for the kids, pirates and more keep the entire family entertained the whole day. Admission is FREE, though attendees are asked to bring canned goods in exchange for zero admission to benefit from a food drive for local food banks.

Coral Point is a small community of only 20 homes located in Rocky Point just off the Manatee Pocket in Stuart FL.  This community had its first home built in 1986 and was mostly finished by 1993, though there have been a few homes with some extensive remodeling that could be considered brand new.

There are a number of wide waterfront homes in Coral Point with quick access to the Atlantic Ocean as this community lies only a mile or two from the inlet.  For those, not on the water there’s a community day dock and fishing pier with excellent fishing for snook or so the residents inform me.

Coral Point is a small community of only 20 homes located in Rocky Point just off the Manatee Pocket in Stuart FL.  This community had its first home built in 1986 and was mostly finished by 1993, though there have been a few homes with some extensive remodeling that could be considered brand new.

There are a number of wide waterfront homes in Coral Point with quick access to the Atlantic Ocean as this community lies only a mile or two from the inlet.  For those, not on the water there’s a community day dock and fishing pier with excellent fishing for snook or so the residents inform me.

The Miles Grant community lies on the southern edge of the Rocky Point area of Stuart FL just north of Cove Road and very close to the Saint Lucie inlet and the Intracoastal Waterway.  This community is home to the Miles Grant Country Club.  The Miles Grant Golf Course is a par 64 course with some of the best conditions for golfers available in the local area.  There are also 7 tennis courts and an active tennis club.  A full-service clubhouse with dining facilities and social membership.  More information about the Miles Grant Country Club can be found on their website at www.MilesGrant.net.

Associated with the Country Club are the condos, townhouses, and homes making up the Miles Grant community.  These include the two phases of the Miles Grant Condominiums Phase 1 and Phase 2, Hanson’s Landing condos, River Pines townhouses, Fairway Villas of Miles Grant, Pine Breeze Golf Villas, Lakeside Villas of Miles Grant, Country Club Apartments, and Country Club Cove.

Recent Miles Grant sales:

Most of these homes and condos were built between the years of 1973 and 1979. 

Social membership in the Miles Grant Country Club is mandatory with the exception of Hansons Landing, River Pines, and Country Club Cove condos where it is optional.  This membership costs $1480.00 a year with food and drinks minimum of $350 per person.
